Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Hey there! Our top priority is always client experience, which is why we have a strict cancellation and rescheduling policy. Having these rules in place allows us to provide you and everyone else an exceptional photoshoot experience. We offer a high touch point service, which means we’re very much involved in your photoshoot before it takes place and long after. We love that we can offer this type of experience to everyone who walks through our doors! Before your photoshoot our team brainstorms and collaborates on how we can bring your vision to life. We create specific sets, purchase additional props and accessories when needed and even train our team on new techniques, all for you! You may not see all the behind the scenes magic that takes place, but know that we are prepping for your big day and thinking about you long before you step in front of our camera.

When a client requests to cancel, our team has already been secured and started to plan out all the details of your photoshoot. When a client requests to reschedule and we’re unable to fill that spot, it has now taken up 2 dates on our calendar that otherwise could have went to someone else with enough notice. If we’re able to fill your rescheduled appointment, it ads additional work and hours to our team in order to deliver each touch point in a reduced time frame.

As much as I love our clients (you guys are seriously the best!), I equally love my team! These fabulous women make all this possible and I respect and value their time. We compensate our team even when we’re not able to fill a last minute cancellation or reschedule and compensate them extra for any additional hours needed to accommodate a reschedule or cancellation request.

FONTAINE PHOTOGRAPHY’S POLICIES

Refundable Deposit

A $250 deposit is required to secure our full team for your session. This deposit is 100% refundable on the day of your ordering appointment, or it can be applied toward additional images or products. However, it is non-refundable if you cancel, no-show, or reschedule your appointment.

Pre-Purchase Option

Clients have the option to pre-purchase image bundles and/or products:

  • Full experience clients: Pre-purchase options are provided on the day of the consultation.

  • Mini session clients: Pre-purchase options are sent via email two weeks prior to the photoshoot.

  • Clients have 48 hours to take advantage of any savings or bonuses. These offers will not be extended beyond the 48-hour period.

  • Pre-purchasing is optional; clients may choose to purchase images at their ordering appointment instead.

Payment Plans & Financing

  • Full experience clients may opt for an in-house payment plan within 48 hours of their consultation.

  • In-house payment plans are not available on the day of the ordering appointment.

  • Clients who select an in-house payment plan must complete all payments as agreed. Failure to do so will result in withholding of images until full payment is received.

  • We also offer Affirm and Klarna financing options, which may be used for pre-purchases or final orders on the day of the ordering appointment.

  • By selecting financing, the client agrees to the terms set by the financing provider. Failure to complete payments does not cancel the client’s obligation to pay in full.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • The $250 deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels, no-shows, or reschedules.

  • A $250 rescheduling fee applies if the session is rescheduled within two weeks of the session date. This fee can be applied as a credit toward portrait orders but is non-refundable if unused.

  • Clients are allowed one courtesy reschedule if the request is made more than two weeks before the session. Any further reschedules will incur the $250 rescheduling fee regardless of notice.

  • A $100 admin fee may be charged if the client does not show up for their consultation or requests a reschedule within 48 hours of the consultation date.

Sales Are Final

  • All orders placed at the ordering appointment are final.

  • We will make every effort to ensure our clients are 100% satisfied with their order.

  • Due to the nature of custom photography products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once an order has been placed.

  • If there are any concerns with the final product, we will work with the client to resolve issues within reasonable expectations.

  • Pre-purchases can be refunded if the client cancels their photoshoot. However, the deposit remains non-refundable, and a $100 admin fee plus any credit card processing fees will be deducted from the refund.

  • If a client downgrades their purchase on the day of the ordering appointment, they will be refunded the difference.

  • Pre-purchases made through financing companies such as Affirm or Klarna are non-refundable.

  • Any in-house payment plans that extend beyond the ordering appointment date are considered final sales and cannot be canceled or refunded.

Image Delivery & Editing

  • Edited digital images will be delivered within 7-10 business days after the ordering appointment.

  • All editing requests must be made during the ordering appointment.

  • Clients will receive a digital gallery before products are ordered and will have three business days to request any revisions.

  • If no response is received within three business days, the order will be processed as approved.

  • Additional revisions requested after the three-day review period may incur a $100 admin fee to reopen the file.

Image Viewing & Unauthorized Screenshots

  • Clients will view their images during the ordering appointment.

  • Screenshots or unauthorized capturing of images is strictly prohibited.

  • If a client takes unauthorized screenshots or copies images, they agree to pay a $2,000 to $5,000 fee for the full gallery, depending on the session type and package value.

  • Failure to pay may result in legal action.

  • Clients agree that professional photography is a valuable service, and all images must be purchased properly to respect the work of the photographer.
