I’m Jenn! The owner and photographer behind Jenn Fontaine Photography, located in downtown Port Coquitlam. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a photographer. My first childhood dream career was a photographer for national geographic. I dreamt of travelling around in an RV taking photos of animals every day! As I grew up my dream stayed the same, just the subjects changed.

I fell in love with portrait photography after my daughter was born in 2013. It took a couple years to make the leap but I decided to follow my passion of photography and in 2015 I launched my first business “Darling Days Photography”, specializing in newborn and child portraits! Over the past 8+ years I’ve hired mentors, invested in education, classes, workshops, worked with hundreds clients and perfected our client experience.

At the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 I learned pretty quick that I had to pivot my business, so that I could not only stay in business, but also thrive. Newborns and babies were no longer coming to the studio, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to really level up and re-brand! I said farewell to Darling Days and chose to go with my new married name; Jenn Fontaine Photography. I decided to focus my energy on new genres; branding, headshots and glam. I fell in love, so much so that I decided to leave the newborns and babies behind and put my entire heart into making women feel beautiful and empowered!

Helping women feel beautiful has special place in my heart. I’ve been on my own self-love journey since 2017. I was sick and tired of hating how I looked and who I was, so I made a promise to put myself first and learn to love myself. The past 6 years have been life changing, and I can proudly say, I love myself and that love is not defined by my looks, my job, my relationship status or any exterior things. I celebrated my self love journey with a portrait session. It was transformative and empowering! I even hung my favourite portrait from that session in my studio to remind myself every day that I am enough, I am powerful and I am beautiful (check it out below). I can’t wait for my clients to feel the same transformational experience I felt, and fall even more in love with themselves when they see their portraits.
